The WebBoard App supports all modern browsers, but collaboration is enabled using WebRTC technologies. Which unfortunately are still not supported fully in a cross-browser manner.
Chrome & Firefox web browsers fully support all WebRTC features, while Opera, Safari and Edge offer partial support.
What this means is that you can use web-whiteboard.io with all modern browsers, but if you would like to share or record your screen, you will have to use Firefox or Chrome which we recommend.
You can expect to be able to view and draw on boards without problems on a mobile device, but while boards are shared it may take a while for slow mobile networks to join conferencing rooms. We recommend using a desktop or laptop device.
However, if your mobile device is connected to a Wi-Fi network, you can expect the same experience on Chrome & Firefox mobile browsers.
With a paid subscription, you can share your boards with unlimited users but the more users sharing their data, the more proccessing power is required. Plan your conferences accordingly.
We recommend keeping your participants count below 12, altough unlimited connections can be made.
Yes! WebBoard offers a free subscription plan which you can use indefinitely. It comes with a 14-day free trial of all Premium features.
For 12 months from the day you subscribed or until you cancel your subscription in your profile settings.
Billing occures monthly, for a cycle of 12 months from the date you subscribed, after which you will be required to renew your subscription to continue using webboard.io features.
You can upgrade, downgrade, cancel or suspend your subscription at any time in your profile, after which billing is stopped.
For the time being, for such requests you can contact us at info@web-whiteboard.io.
Team plans are coming soon. Stay tuned...
